Information for Dentists - Hygiene Services
We know that many of our colleagues may not have a hygienist within their own practice. Our hygienist can accept referrals made with appropriate prescription for care and treatment from dentists who wish to offer their patients the services of a hygienist. We do not accept patients for routine dental care, so there is no ethical dilemma involved in this process for anyone. The hygienist will liaise directly with the referred patient and referring dentist, with clinical records such as pocket charts and radiographs being provided to the referrer.
