Thanks for your letter regarding your application for the Dentistry Practice of the Year Awards.
Apart from the obvious thought and attention to detail which has gone into the planning and development of Perlan to create a premises of exceptional standard, my comments focus more on the level of service the patients and I, as a referring practitioner, receive.
On each occasion I, or a member of my staff speak to your reception the call is answered promptly and in a courteous, friendly manner. Queries have, without exception, been handled efficiently. I have no direct feedback from my patients but have no reason to suspect they are not dealt with in the same way.
Your regular communication by way of letter with the referring practitioner regarding treatment planning and ongoing treatment outcomes I find very helpful. It keeps us in touch with what is happening so that any time the patient attends our practice we know exactly where they are and as such can offer effective support. Having sat in on several of your treatment planning session with my patients I know your patient communication is equally as effective.
I would like to give special mention to how accessible you make yourself to giving help and advice. This has been especially important to me as I have started to introduce implants into my practice. Whenever I have contacted you by phone or e-mail with a question you have always responded immediately, which enormously reassuring for someone in my situation.
On a related note is your commitment to further education, ranging from individual mentoring to the series of study clubs organised at Perlan which are open to all and are geared effectively to improve our skills.
Finally it almost goes without saying that the clinical outcomes of your treatment are of the highest standard, which is why I always feel very comfortable referring my patients to you.
